Update Regarding Old Plan Room Website

Builders Exchange of Wisconsin Members –

We hope that you have been able to take advantage of the new BXWI.com Virtual Plan Room network, and the better-quality service it provides to our construction community.

We just wanted to update you regarding projects on our old site. Currently our reporters are only providing project Addenda updates on our old system; if you would like access to any new projects you will have to login to our new plan room. We suggest that once logged in to the new plan room, you also update your bookmarks in order to ensure that your company is receiving accurate bid information as our we will not continue updating our old site for much longer.

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2017: 2015 Wisconsin Act 55 (the budget bill) repeals the state prevailing wage law for local governmental units such as villages, towns, cities, school districts, or sewerage districts effective January 1, 2017. However, if a local government either issues a Request for Bids or enters into a contract before January 1, 2017 then those public works projects will be subject to the current prevailing wage law through the life of the project.
